Alluree Empire

Descendants of Radnia

Alluree were humans, most likely descendants of the ancient Radnians that were equivalent to Terran humans in every respect. The empire grew out of the union of several smaller stellar alliances. The first Tagliis ruler of the Alluree took the throne in 2236. Both before and after the ascendance of the Tagliis kings, the Tengii and Chitazian nobles were rivals of the Tagliis. For centuries, the Tagliis held firmly to their authority, but in 2750, the Tengii and Chitazian Joined together to destroy the house of Tagliis.

Secret Cybernetics Trade

Following the Naplian Invasion of Terra, the Briddarri Kingdom secretly established the Twelfth Legion cybernetic reserve in an attempt to take advantage of the growing interstellar traffic in cybernetics. With rising anti-war sentiment at home and changing military fortunes abroad, the Briddarri secretly legalized the interstellar covert cybernetics trade in 2747. It also contracted with ships of other empires that were trading along the Alluree frontier, where there was considerable interest in cybernetic technology, for the resettlement of cyborg refugees fleeing Terran and Kvizier space.

Briddarri Intervention

In 2751, responding to a formal plea for assistance, the Briddarri intervened in the Tagliis Kingship power struggle by bombarding the Tengii capital world, Gammil 4, deposing the pretender Tengii King Orli Deschava, helping to install the more amenable Arlit Bentosia, who signed a treaty between the Briddarri Kingdom and Alluree in, 2752. After that, Chitazian and Tengii missions were established to promote pro-cyborg educational institutions in Alluree.

Alluree Forces

After the intervention in 2751, Alluree military was modeled after the Briddarri system. They used surplus Briddarri equipment, vehicles, and starships bought through Vashtun Enterprises and Stelltron. Before Briddarri involvement, the Alluree military consisted of local warlord forces with starships of frigate class or lower. However, the capital starsystem had a fleet of capital ships including seven cruiser squadrons, four starfighter carrier squadrons, and two battleship squadrons.

The Grand Alliance

The Alluree joined the Grand Alliance in 2758, not long after the intervention at Gammil 4. They provided the security for the cybernetic reserves created in their former territories and were the first to suffer at the hands of the cybernetic rebels there. The empire provided armies and fleets through a voluntary enlistment system until the famous Naplian raid on the Dano starsystem. Subsequently, the Alluree adopted a Briddarri style conscription system. During the last desperate decades of Alluree resistance to the cybers, Alluree commanders regularly engaged in massive press gang operations to replenish their losses.

The Harvest

As the Naplians continued their advance, the Alluree, believing that their existence as a people was in doubt, supported the Briddarri plan to harvest of a portion of the population of each member state of the Gand Alliance for conversion to cyborg forces to oppose the Naplians. To this end, Alluree ceded all of the territories that were needed for the harvest and construction of the "Cyber 1" and "Mech" classes of cyborgs. Alluree support meant the mandatory harvest of nearly every soul in the northern and southern territories, leaving only the central third of Alluree and its population intact. The Alluree continued to actively support the Grand Alliance with funds with resources and recruits, mainly cyborg. Their folly was laid bare at the time of the Cyber Rebellion in 3275.

The Last Contact

Because of their location in the midst of the cybernetic harvest reserves, Alluree was one of the first empires to succumb to the cybernetic onslaught. In 3283 Geddan, Cyber1 and Mechs forces overran the last Alluree strongholds in the Polamatti Nebula. The last contact from alluree troops was a transmission from the garrison on Uli 5. The broadcast was intercepted by a Briddarri task force under Commodore Frewila in 3286. The actual date of the communication was determined to be in late 3283.
