Upcoming Books!


Preface

All of these books are in the editing stage, some of them for quite a while but you will soon see all of them available in our Takam Universe bookstore and other places online. I'm giving you a bit more information on the first listed book because it won't be a spoiler. The rest I will only be able to briefly describe for fear of giving away too much. 

Dark Star by AR DeClerck


This is the sequel to An Enduring Sun. It is the continuing story of a family (yes, I said family) of renegade Mark 1 Truppen; a father and four brothers, who fled Terran space during the First Consular War and ended up in the southern core of the galaxy. Oh, and they're also mixed up with a few strong women and a band of orphans. The Truppens' mom is missing, and presumed dead for a boatload of years when they suddenly learn that she's alive. Oh, by the way, one of the boys is sick,  gonna die sick, and has to get to a coreward facility before he, well, dies. So, dad, with the assistance of ERCA Rangers, goes after mom. The boys drag sick brother on a starship and head for Pythar. The ride gets bumpy from there...


Rhats Too! by Kerry Nietz

Rhats Too is the second book in the Muto Chronicles. It is the continuing adventures of Frohic, the Muto Rhat who is unsuccessfully trying to avoid the life of a smuggler. More on him later.

The Last Run of the Ice Duchess by Shona Husk

The story of a freighter starship captain forced to go on a desperate mission to rescue a captured spy.

Strife's Cost by Steve Rzasa

This is the sequel to Empire's Rift. It follows Tag and Marny Wester, Elden Selva, and a host of other familiar characters into the Great Desert Rift where they encounter Blue Kitt, Naplians, Briddarri, and unimaginable horrors. 


Decaying Orbit by AR DeClerck

This is a sequel to Dark Star. It picks up immediately from where the last book left off. Can't say much about this one without giving too much away. I can say that they encounter an interesting female along the way.

Anthology - TBA (We don't have a name for this yet.)

The first anthology will cover a broad swath of history and introduce readers to aliens, sporting events and violent struggles in the Estra Galaxy.

Books, Books, Books!

This year has been a busy one for the publishing arm of Takamo Universe. I'm happy to tell you that we have a boatload of novels, novellas and anthologies published and even more in production. A taste of the new Takamo Universe Starship Showroom. The is a Stelltron Commercial Scout We Are Back! I know, I know. I said we would change the format and publish weekly, and here it is, MONTHS later and you are just reading the next installment. Unhappily, In February and March, our family suffered a couple of setbacks, a broken leg, ankle, actually - mine - and in March we all came down with a whopper of a cold that progressed to walking pneumonia and to top it off, we all ended up in the ER at 3 in the morning with a family member who had suffered a traumatic brain injury. So, I've been a bit distracted. But now, the sickness is gone, my leg is healing nicely, and our prayers were answered when the family member came out of his come after neurosurgery and has made a miraculous recovery.
