Kanse Corporation; A Kvizier Think Tank







The Premier Galactic Think Tank



   The Kanse Corporation was the hub of Kvizier research, teaching, and training in interstellar security and diplomacy, science & technology policy and environmental & resource issues. The Kanse was consistently rated the top academically affiliated think tank by the Maugham Think Tank Quarterly.


The Corporation had a dual mission: first to provide leadership in advancing policy-relevant knowledge about the most important challenges of interstellar security and other critical issues where science, technology, environmental policy, and interstellar affairs intersected; and (2) to train future Kvizier leaders in these disciplines.

Building on the vision of founder Preskul Drimus, the Center compiled the writings and research of social scientists, natural scientists, technologists, and practitioners in government, diplomacy, the military, and business across the galaxy. Kanse Corporation pursued its mandate in four categories:






1. Security

An Interstellar Security Project addressed the most pressing threats to Kvizier interests.

2. Science and Public Policy

The Pangalactic Science, Technology, and Public Policy Project analyzed public policy, and influenced strategies for security, efficiency, sustainability, and economic competitiveness.

3. Environment and Natural Resources

The Environment and Natural Resources Committee was the focus of  Kvizier research on natural resources and environmental problems and policy responses.

4. Diplomacy and Interstellar Affairs

The Diplomacy and Interstellar Affairs focus of the Kanse Corporation included the award-winning Imperative of Diplomacy Conclave and also supported research and teaching on galactic political relations throughout the Coreward Reaches.

The center of Kanse Corporation was its on-planet research community of more than 15 million scholars, including premier faculty, researchers, and inter-empire research fellows. Via Corporate publications, policy discussions, seminars, and conferences, the Corporation encouraged innovative solutions to significant empire and interstellar challenges.

Books, Books, Books!

This year has been a busy one for the publishing arm of Takamo Universe. I'm happy to tell you that we have a boatload of novels, novellas and anthologies published and even more in production. I said we would change the format and publish weekly, and here it is, MONTHS later and you are just reading the next installment. Unhappily, In February and March, our family suffered a couple of setbacks, a broken leg, ankle, actually - mine - and in March we all came down with a whopper of a cold that progressed to walking pneumonia and to top it off, we all ended up in the ER at 3 in the morning with a family member who had suffered a traumatic brain injury. So, I've been a bit distracted. But now, the sickness is gone, my leg is healing nicely, and our prayers were answered when the family member came out of his come after neurosurgery and has made a miraculous recovery.
